Not sure how I feel about using LLMs as therapy tools. How many people use therapy as a tool for confirmation bias and will now have easier access due to LLMs being taught to be reasonably agreeable?

Definitely confused by the trend of pfp collections launching coins. They want to capture liquidity and memecoin market but won't have the same value/benefit which in time will just ruin the appeal of the pfp collection. Shortsighted

US crypto/tax people: with brokers/exchanges having to report crypto transactions in 2025, how do you transfer your cost basis to the exchange, so that they report the right gain/loss? Will there be an option to specify that? Anyone know?

If Acemoglu et al's work on Why Nations Fail point to lack of good institutions, I wonder to what extent blockchains can/do act as institutional-ish backstops. Replacing institutions with protocols. Money's an example. But even like a prediction market. Feels like being able to bet on the future, makes the future more certain? eg, here's a heck of a control group/study question: being able to bet on politics actually induces stability?

Does aether post any of its transcripts/logs like Terminal of Truth sometimes does? Hard to find code/documentation on these agents. Think it's probably imperative that eventually they also post logs to confirm they aren't being puppeteered.
