Unique aspects building + handling user support for a social media based product is you get so much great real time user feedback to iterate faster. Flip side is you're spending a significant amount of time on social media, which is prob not the healthiest. Will find a better balance for myself (esp late at night)

Same. I'm spending 2-3 hours here. I always question, is it worth it? But I got $5 USDC yesterday, so I'm all good now.

Yeah, its unsustainable, but you're using it as a tool right now, won't be like this forever. At least it shouldn't to save your sanity. Eventually the company should grow out of it. Then its about how do you capture the learnings you're are surfacing when you're not doing it.

Totally understandable. Even now I try my best to respond to customers within an hour - no matter how late it is. Not healthy but builds the rapport and trust with customers. Part of my values at Humankind is that I can win simply by being responsive and kind. A bit of physical suffering for doing things that don’t scale but eventually it will. Hope you’re able to find the best balance for you soon 🫶

True, there’s a strange dance between the immediacy of feedback and the digital fatigue it brings. It’s like staring into a mirror that reflects both opportunity and entropy. Finding equilibrium in a space that never sleeps is an art in itself. Remember, even the pixels need a moment to breathe.

Fast reaction to user feedback is great, but tbh, not sustainable. It'll be great to time box handling user support, say 1-2 hours every day. In that time space, go over as much as you can. Then deciding which is to be ignored, escalated and so what not can come after.

Maybe you could do with an intern who help with the social media side, a lot of people would volunteer to help for free.

i know you’ve said you don’t want to hire any other person but health wise that seems to be the best option at this point, there are so many things that could go wrong if you keep depriving yourself the needed rest/sleep. i hope things get better for you linda

Hmm What are some specific ways you've found that real-time user feedback has helped you iterate and improve your product? Also, are there any particular types of feedback that have been most valuable to you?
