My last read, "The Road to the Country" brought a fresh take on the Biafran War, following a Nigerian who becomes a Biafran soldier. Unlike Achebe's and Adichie's works, it explores spirituality, life, death, and the afterlife alongside war experiences. I think it is a great to Biafran War literature, because it gives a fresh perspective. I highly recommend, but after There was a country by Chinua Achebe and Half of a Yellow Sun by C. Adiche. An 8.5/10
