Realising that a lot of the inventions we have are by people who were allowed to focus on creativity and given "freedom to waste time. The freedom to waste resources. And the autonomy to decide how". For 25+ years the sun was a constant. I had no regard for it, tbh, it used to be really annoying; having your bath and sweating even before you leave the house. f**king sun. Now, when it is out, I mutter a little “Thank you”. How times have changed.
