In just four days of talking story on Farcaster, I learned about more casters with connections to Hawaii like @bay-photography's dad in Hilo or @jonathancolton and a famous local food blogger, who is an old friend of mine. I found out that @reneecampbell and @sleepypenguin.eth are both the baby in their big families, like me and share the forever young gene that comes with that experience. 😂
I learned the personal stories of @fredha.eth, walked the journey of native populations with @chicbangs.eth and @lostfleurs. So many stories around Korean children, parents, hapa (mixed ancestry) kids, which was surprising and fun with @manuwilliams, @investanything, @jessi.
BUT maybe the most mind blowing was @danicaswanson who turns out to be the sister of a very good friend of mine. Also, we met! Decades ago when we were growing up.
So many more examples of shared experiences by just talking to each other and sharing our stories. Looking forward to more. Thank you everyone for joining in the conversation. 33 replies

Some tips on the upcoming season.
1. Don't use other people's art or creations. There is a difference between a homage, tribute, and straight up stealing. If you are using other people's signed work in a cast with zero explanation or credit we are going to start banning you. This is a channel of personal creation, channel culture, art, and expression. We've been forgiving up to now, but that is now ending. Do your own work. No warnings, no excuses, you're getting banned. You know better and so do we.
2. Build a network. You should have noticed by now we tend to approve casts from people that know other people connected to our moderators. If you have zero mutual followers, its going to be a challenge. So, you need to be putting in the work to grow through proper, organic engagement. Otherwise, really focus on creating great, original work.
3. Try new things. Construction themes are fun, but variety wins, we don't want the same content over and over. Art is king. Create and Just Build. 💛 16 replies

I have A LOT of sisters, 4 in total, all older. So, not only am I the only boy, I'm also the baby of the family, Korean's call me the magnae, which translates to "he who's shit don't stink". Ok, that's not true, it just means the youngest. 😂
It's pretty clear that my dad really wanted a boy. After having kids of my own, I would regularly tell my parents I think they got short changed. "All of that to get to me? You got robbed dude."
I'm so grateful to have my sisters, they mean the world to me. Actually, their influence plus being the youngest probably explains why I get along with everyone here (re: chronically immature), esp since I'm on the older side of the population distribution on WC (I'm late Gen X, not a boomer you snarky bastards)
So much of who we are, is shaped by the brothers, the sisters, we had and didn't, to get us right here, right now. What about you? How did your family shape you and your world view?
P.S. We all have kids of our own now and guess what...they all had girls! Figures 28 replies
