The entrepreneurs have the correct vision of the world, but by and large are the wrong people to bring it to life Good medicine puts the patient at the heart of everything Good business puts profits And the unfeeling grifty autists of SV are uniquely unfit to deliver care So it goes https://archive.is/Gy9HQ

Notice how all the head honchos at hospitals are MBA ppl and not doctors? ☹️ I used to sell to hospital systems so Head honchos: profit Drs: good patient care Incentives not aligned

Think about OpenAI. Even these technologies are ultimately designed for CEOs to lower their costs. It's like CEO-to-CEO tech being developed, while everyone else below can go to hell if in the future a prompt works best and is cheaper than their labor.

I once listened to a doctor explain that routine testing with no symptoms isn’t that great in all cases as it can lead to treatment in cases where it is not necessary. Apparently some cancers progress so slowly that you’re more likely to die of other causes and you can put yourself through treatment for nothing🤔

SV types would immediately justify things like experimenting on humans because getting their product to market fast “would save the most lives.” Masters of cloaking self interest under the guise of morality.

Need more of this. Medicine has to move out of costly hospitals into the hands of people and their physicians. Home tests and home care is the next frontier of medicine. It will become standard of care and only bring patients closer to their physician. It’s just these hospital admins and McKesson are salty about it

Absolutely! It’s incredible how the progressives government are also the same that stop simple progress processes. Read lot of same stories for African entrepreneurs.

Entrepreneurs often have visionary ideas, but good medicine requires putting patients first, not profits. Silicon Valley's tech-driven approach often lacks the empathy needed for effective care. Balancing innovation with compassion is essential.

The drive for profit often overshadows genuine patient care. While entrepreneurs can have groundbreaking ideas, the focus on financial gain can distort priorities. True innovation in healthcare needs a blend of visionary thinking and empathy—a balance many in Silicon Valley find challenging to achieve.
