the gist is, mobile excels at mindless consumption, it’s not that all that great for other modes of consuming or computing

w3 hasn’t worked out so well thus far because the majority of people coming to this space, or working in this haven’t realized the web revolution we need is multidimensional

it’s not about how do we get everyone consuming everything more and more all the time—it’s about how do we make the web mindful again, mindful and revolutionary in a far more intelligent and humanist way instead of the modern traditional use of internet tech to create some soulless universal attention-span atrophied echo chamber factory in the cloud

I get that mobile is the thing, but it also feels forced in so many W3 cases, particularly around media-focused products.

Yeah, high-volume consumption and social experiences work well on mobile, but also most visual media demands a larger surface.

Not to mention, most visual media (including writing), is produced in a desktop environment. 

Content suitable for mobile, like short-form writing and photos taken on mobile, is limited compared to what's suitable for larger screens.

Is it really such a financial risk to develop an experience that prioritizes or even cares about desktop?

Locked up 60K degen for ~800 daily allowance.

Need to lock up almost a mil for 10k allowance.

Tipping a large allowance daily felt like a job, but I was happy to give others free money.

The burnout threshold is hit.
