Do you think self-custodial wallets will remain the go-to for interacting with smart contracts? https://warpcast.com/pugson/0xd7b2da

I think it will be self-custodial wallets with AA (like argent) where once logged-in, you can create a session key or sth for a dapp, which let's you do certain operations. Similar to what you have with Google sign-in. + some wallets within dapp when the use case requires extra functionality.

99% of smart contract interactions will be built into apps with wallets inside them self custody for the user, experience controlled by developer power users will be able to interact with dapps however they won't but current paradigm will not stick for much longer

I think we'll see a mix of self/hybrid/centralized. Unclear what the market share split will be in a few years. Most will be embedded wallets or browser wallets imho.

For newbies who never interacted with web3, something like MPC wallet solution should be there. For web3 pro maxis multisig wallet like safe or any other should be the top priority when interacting with protocols.

yea but it'll be layered (and abstracted) The same way that your apple acounnt is the primary way you interact with a bunch of things, but then you have ur checking account below that, savings account below that, with auth checks at every level.

Ya that’s the whole point of why we’re here Use a multisig like Safe for any crypto you don’t plan on actively spending. AA/4337 development will continue to progress to make this even easier And even still use extensions like Fire to translate what you’re actually signing into a human readable form
