Did you know your wallet could be built with a light client in it TODAY to avoid trusting centralized RPCs? https://frame.weponder.io/api/polls/5345

Security Check => Could you recover your funds if: - Your wallet extension was randomly deleted? - Your hardware wallet stopped working? - You signed a phishing transaction?

"Many of us appear to be closet US dollar maxis, at least by revealed preference. If you are a US dollar maxi, the thing you care about in the context of Ethereum is just how many US dollars you can trade it for. It's a very boring life, and I don't recommend it" - Christopher Goes www.youtube.com/watch?v=uUwVal5gmbA

Interesting article @blocknative. Private transactions are causing the base fee to be volatile & detached from the actual demand for blockspace. This could be an issue if we want to build markets more efficient than tradfi www.blocknative.com/blog/how-self-built-blocks-unintentionally-introduce-base-fee-volatility

Bill Burr signing with Hulu is huge Comedy is slowly working it's way back I think we'll see a blockbuster Superbad style comedy on one of these streaming services in the next couple of years. The competition between Disney (Hulu) and Netflix will bring us even better content www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZrLgEhK8XC0

The cycle of actual utility is here and it's going to attract top talent from a range of industries Now that the tech is used less for grifting on false promises and more for genuinely useful applications. Hopefully this shift will have the opposite effect it previously had, where it attracted the worst type of grifters, and now attract a diverse range of people, including some who may have doubted it in the past. We're already seeing this with Nate Silver working with polymarket and people on farcaster who are more interested in startups than anything else, as well as the big names from tradfi getting into tokenization

What sets Ethereum apart from other blockchains is its ethos of eliminating all potential centralized choke points. The goal is to build an unstoppable public good that can last for decades even centuries

Subnames are still very underused and this is a perfect use case for them. We like ✨transparency✨ @noun40 good work https://x.com/quintenfrancois/status/1815624631115460662?s=46&t=Ngl1sElWUn3Od1WsMs2f0Q

Quick comment to keep you guys updated on the latest discussions happening in Ethereum protocol land. This is not at all a shot at @yb, it’s impossible for him to both keep us updated on FC every day and stay on top of the latest on the protocol side In the terminal update yesterday yb said, “how can we get that ETH staked to help strengthen the network?” Fyi there is currently a lot of discussion (led by @ansgar.eth and @caspar) suggesting that we might not want anymore ETH staked. In fact, the more ETH that gets staked at this point, the more it could lead to negative externalities. If you’re curious about why this is the case, check out that video from dappcon where ansgar leads a discussion on why he thinks more ETH staked would be problematic www.youtube.com/watch?v=NetX38xZEdk

Wrote up a quick thread on why I think decentralizing governance is important and needed to build an unstoppable protocol for 10+ years into the future 🧵
