I found "Happiest Baby on the Block" very useful in the early days. https://www.amazon.com/Happiest-Block-Revised-Updated-Second/dp/0553393235 #1 thing to know — do what's right for your family and child. Everyone will have advice and judgements, ignore the noise.

Listening is good, but don't be afraid to tell _anyone_ other than your partner to go fuck themselves with their opinion. The Snoo is worth it. Get a new one on sale, the o rings on a used one will fail and it's an 8 hour repair. Get a fisher price rocker swing. Join your Facebook buy nothing group.
