Tip: Take the opportunity to judge in a hackathon at least once every six months. It highlights things you were lying to yourself as being ok in your own app when you find them unacceptable when empowered to judge someone else's product. "It's only 3 dollars, I'm sure people won't have a problem paying that to try my game..."

👋 5$ USDC Bounty for the first person who can help me regain my sanity and explain why the app in the repo below works for some computers consistently, and doesn't work for others, with no changes to the code: https://github.com/briandoyle81CB/dao-gate/blob/main/src/app/page.tsx It's a little app to token-gate an IRL event. For some reason, on many computers, it seems to flat out refuse to ever call the useReadContract hook.
