Not sure how accurate this map is but it's a wild one. Although most of the country is very sparsely populated and most Dems are in the big cities. Funny though that I live in the only non-blue county in the south Pacific coast.

I love how FC overall has a much healthier reaction to the election than the other social media platforms. Threads and Bluesky users right now are really struggling with reality. X is celebrating In FC, some might be upset and some might celebrate but we all keep keeping on and build.

Oh look it's finally triggering. I was so surprised that there wasn't anything out yet. Especially since before we had immersives much sooner.

It's really sad what's going on with Google Search. We had pretty rich experiences for the 2016 and 2020 elections where it was great for tracking each candidate's policies before the election and track the election results day of. Now there's nothing but links to news sites. It's like the News VP took over and the Search Experience / Knowledge VP is nowhere to be found. Perplexity's Election feature isn't at the level Google's was in the past but at least they have one this time around.

I mostly still just see anti-Elon content on Threads. More so than in Bluesky. https://www.businessinsider.com/threads-users-how-many-meta-twitter-instagram-2024-11

Breaking News from Nate Silver! We won't know who is going to win until an official winner is announced. (I could've saved you a lot of time Nate.) https://www.natesilver.net/p/nate-silver-2024-president-election-polls-model

No matter who wins, democracy in the US is over, according to both sides. The right says its over because the left is letting in illegal immigrants to vote for the left. The left says its over because the guy on the right is a fascist. how fun

Has anyone tried Dragon Age: Veilguard yet? Overall reviews are good but I've also seen mixed takes from gamers. The main critique I've seen is on the tone and writing. Comparing it to Marvel.

It's interesting that ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude have all launched native Desktop apps. I like it. Desktop apps should have a comeback. I don't particularly like that most apps on desktop these days are just browser based.

React's provider chain might be one of those things that sounded good in theory but it's not so great in practice. It feels like a dependency injection framework but much more rigid and sequential.

Since the new DC APIs will let group admins delete any group messages, the delete message feature is now available for group admins on Warpcast as well.

Why do I have a better WiFi signal to "The Lords house" than to my own WiFi?
