Yes, though only for syncing passkeys and some app information - I use a separate password manager for most credentials, and don't let Safari auto-save passwords.

Nope, ever since my chrome account got hacked when I was younger and they had access to all my saved passwords I refuse to keep anything on services like it My favorite method is keeping everything offline in a password book, written in code of your own design — fun & secure
