This dog was black as a puppy. We named her Pepper. She turns whiter everyday. Now every time someone remarks on her color change, I fire off a song from the Salt-N-Pepa playlist. Tonight’s was It’s A She Thing.

This indoor flower garden from Trader Joe’s was absolutely my best impulse purchase this holiday season. I have gotten such delight from watching the bulbs sprout and grow and now bloom.

Bought this book based off Adam Grant’s recommended new books. It is now a favorite. What set this book apart for me was how it starts by asking you to think like the reader, not the writer. There is a lot of crossover application with UX/UI, brand experience and other disciplines.

I just wrapped two intense client engagements. Over the past couple of weeks I realized how much I have neglected my personal life in the past year. I am in the guilt phase (of not working 24/7) coming off workaholic mode. Focusing that into neglected errands, home projects, car tlc, checkups-next up friend deficits!

One if my favorite summer meals for when it’s hot out. Chicken Avocado Salad Precook some chicken breasts and some bacon slices (usually do this the day before) Boil some fresh sweet corn on the cob & slice off. Add in an avocado & fresh dill Mix in “Dressing” of lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, pepper

This time of day is referred to as disco hour in my house. The sun comes through the window at just the right angle to hit a sequined pillow which pretends it's a disco ball for about an hour.

Listened to recent HBR Ideacast with Microsoft Head of Strategy Chris Young. He said they were “tracking 80 AI companies last fall, and this year, they are tracking 8000. “ 😳 Microsoft is tracking anything & everything in a key category. Down to tiny new startups. Predict more early acquisitions to come.

Came back from the beach famished and close to hangry. So I toasted a bagel and added cream cheese and gravlax to it while I cooked a fresh vegetable plate of squash & zucchini, sautéed sweet potato and corn on the cob. It sounds like a horrible mashup but was actually quite tasty.

I don’t understand mayo in lobster rolls. Lobster Roll - lobster, butter, toasted bun - squirt of lemon only acceptable addition. My husband likes the lettuce, while it doesn’t offend me, I find it just makes it harder to eat as a sandwich.
