WHAT’S HAPPENING WITH CHANNELS? 1. Channels aren’t going anywhere anytime soon 2. Our priority is growth; we’re working on a) improving onchain UX with frames + wallet (network differentiation) b) invites + rewards (increase daily actives users) c) protocol improvements to support new clients bringing their own users (increase daily actives users) d) creator onboarding (increase daily active users) 3. Channels, historically, have not driven growth; channels, however, have helped deepen engagement and retention for existing power users. 4. Given limited resources (i.e. focus), we don’t have near term plans to add features to channels. 5. However, nearly all aspects of channels are programmable via a) the protocol b) Warpcast open / free APIs. If there is demand, we may also prioritize making channel registration available API. Note: moving all channels metadata to the protocol is a lot of work that wouldn’t drive near-term growth. 1/2

A Rust Docs MCP server ensures the LLM is context aware of the above. What was previously a painpoint for working with rust and LLM's is now solved and works seamlessly well with editors like Cursor and Windsurf.

My late New Year's resolution is to capture more of my shower thoughts. I have so many amazing but fleeting shower thoughts I can never fully recall by the time I'm toweled off. Ponder has got me thinking about gambling. As a former gambler (I’m up £80 all time), this is close to my heart. But there is something depraved about gambling your money. Obviously memecoins are different, they are cultural infrastructure and that’s important. Ponder, however, is DIFFERENT. This is gambling with FRIENDS, and I think that’s beautiful. @cojo.eth

If the delta between expectation and reality either = joy (positive) or disappointment (negative), then spending time IRL with Farcasters nearly guarantees joy at this point: - So much f*cking alpha in the room - Default questions are "how can I help?" and "can you tell me more?" - High concentration of founder mode + builder energy - Always feels like a team sport, even when we compete or disagree with each other - Not awkward meeting new people because there are max 2 degrees of separation between any two people, even as the user base scales ...onwards 🫶

I hate to break it you but if you're wallet balance is suddenly in the trillions you are not in fact richer than all the world's billionaires. Someone dusted a bunch of warplets with a low liquidity spam token that got past spam filters. Working on fixing now.
