The most important upcoming election in the US: The latest SurveyUSA places Cuomo at 43% and Mamdani at 11%, similarly, a Marist poll places Cuomo at 37% and Mamdani at 18%. Data for Progress has similar numbers. So there are two real candidates for the Dem primaries in this Mayoral race. Polling is really bad at predicting voting patterns sometimes, so it looks like there exists a gap in the prediction market on Polymarket (https://polymarket.com/event/who-will-win-dem-nomination-for-nyc-mayor), which really hasn't caught up to Mamdani 's rising graph. What these polls and the market is missing is that Mamdani was first to max out on his fundraising target. On voting day, it's about getting the people out, and looks like Mamdani has been great at mobilizing. Polling doesn't capture that. So, I think this race is going to be way closer than what the market predicts. Hence, there is an opportunity to be on the underdog and win big.
