Disadvantage to some and advantage to some too. If you feel like you love what you are doin and if you are "good" doin crypto things then it's an advantage. Advantage to what?? Well some say "if you love what you do, you are at advantage" but i say, "if you are having fun and at the same time earning then you are good

You're missing out stuck in traffic for two hours every day. Also, potentially living in a very expensive city so you can go to the office

disadvantage: for a founder/angel looking to help people and solve problems, millions of people have pain points that with your experience (and most in crypto?), you only know about through pop culture and secondhand. advantage: life is gud

This is where the future is moving to. Being able to allocate attention and effort out of your daily 24 hours to the things you care about, ad-hoc. Collaboration tools are getting better, youโ€™ve just leapfrogged ahead. Same with me, I have always been a remote-first contributor across multiple businesses.

- "normal" job hours: you're not missing anything - in-person work: you're missing a lot that said, if you can make remote as productive as in-person, good on you. that's extremely hard to do.

Potentially a disadvantage. You don't know how good you have it. I don't know anything about you, but I've worked with kids who don't know how blessed they are, and it makes them kind of shitty. As long as you're practicing gratefulness and humility, though, then you're gold.

For my part, I think I'm committed to the blockchain space for the rest of my career, which is an interesting evolution for me. But I also don't know what that looks like yet. It's not yet clear to me that companies, at least those that exist today, in this space need people with my skills.

What your building isnโ€™t regular. And the future of working is heading in this direction because of technology. More remote based jobs that give you more flexibility than the standard clock in and clock out of the office. Many are no longer working the regular capitalist way.

Hmmmm, dunno. Sounds amazing. On the other hand, I really enjoyed working in an office in my 20s. My team was like family - like in the show The Office.

It's a long life. Don't limit yourself by closing off opportunities outside of your current position/industry. Keep learning and stay adaptive.

Honestly, it's both! Depending on the environment you happen to be moving at the time you may find yourself either way ahead of the curve or with no comprehension of a situation or empathy for another individuals point of view or life experience. I speak from a similar position but in a far more analogue fashion ๐Ÿค

I wouldn't call it neither an advantage, not a disadvantage. But personally (as I am in pretty much the same boat so far) I'd like to also experience different industries and office cultures as I'm sure I'd find amazing people and will learn a lot.
