Interesting start to the day....hand down the drain to clear a fat berg. Had to clear the 4" pipe outside of lots of white gunk 🤢. Then had the wasp man come and sort a nest in the most inconvenient part of the roof. They were busy hauling out all my insulation 🤬. Living the hight life🙄

Exactly that @clfx.eth although less about material removal and more about tool angle. The plane cuts.quite aggressively even set fine and because iron is forward facing often chips the resin. Card on other hand controls it is own depth more effectively and is sort of pulling over the work. Think the difference between pushing or pulling a rake in soil - pushing it can bulldoze pulling seldom does.

Tool of the day/ current favourite 🤣 my lie nielsen scraper cards. The pleasure of using a card with a good burr can only be rivaled by a planer iron which takes the hair of the arm with no effort. 😏. Only thing I forgot - they get hot quick so now I have burned thumbs 🤣

GM fam. Meadow flowers are doing their thing. I will need to cut this area soon though, the rain has laid it pretty badly. Hopefully I can leave it to dry long enough for seed to fall down for next year🤞

Back on skirting detail today. Glad to finally have all these bits cut and oiled. These have been an absolute pig! Not fixed yet. Gonna redecorate first - save cutting in. Hardly anyone will ever see these either....but I know they're there! What are you folks up to this week?
