the crossroads of ethereum and bitcoin is a great thing. it also necessarily means they can no longer be viewed as running in parallel. they are very different assets engineered for different categories of use. ethereum stands on its own.

farcaster is not sustainable if merkle gets all the funding and does not pass that on to other developers. you can either centralize funding and development or decentralize both. you can’t centralize funding and maintain motivation for decentralized development.
