Solana's launch of Blinks signals a trend. In the long run, Twitter poses a tough challenge for Farcaster. Also as a social layer, Twitter is the largest traffic pool, attracting numerous projects to build around it. In the application layer, there are "TwitterFi" projects like Fantasy and FriendTech, which are built on Twitter's social graph and enjoy more traffic and liquidity compared to similar products built on Farcaster's social graph. In the middleware layer, tools like Blinks bridge the application layer and the Twitter client, allowing direct interactions with wallets on Twitter, including DeFi, NFT, gaming, and SocialFi Dapps. Farcaster's Frame no longer seems fresh after Blinks' introduction. How will Farcaster respond?

In multiple European cities now I see taxis being allowed to use the bus lane (while of course regular cars are not). What's the policy justification for this?

tldr mp3 was invented and struggled to get traction, the record label tried to sue the standard after it touched music, pushback on the record label suing fans, the record label called in to radio stations with bots to hit charts, and CDs were pirated/leaked by factory workers using belt buckles

New experiment on Warpcast Channel streaks - Choose a channel you want to display on your profile - Cast in that channel daily to keep the streak - Get an in-app reminder to cast in the channel - Opt-in; the streak indicator will only appear on your profile to others if you do - Pick a channel you’d like to be more active in - Only one streak at a time

There's a fascinating analogy between coding in python using hyper-optimized vectorized libraries (numpy, cupy, torch...), and living in Singapore. In python, whatever you're not vectorizing takes the longest, even if it's utterly trivial. Literally picking merkle branches out of a pre-built tree is taking me longer than an entire fast fourier transform. In Singapore, whatever you get from international brands (as opposed to eg. hawker centers) is the most expensive, even if it's utterly trivial. I've literally had meals where the starbucks green tea I had right after a hawker center meal cost more than the meal.

It looks like the Degen L3 bridge (supported by @decentxyz) ensured I didn't miss out on the /layerzero airdrop. 😂 It wasn't much, but I still appreciate $DEGEN for that. https://www.layerzero.foundation/eligibility

I feel like off-chain ZK applications are really undervaluing the potential of just using STARKs, including for privacy-demanding use cases. These days a STARK is < 100 kB, for off-chain use cases that amount of bandwidth is utterly trivial compared to the client-side prover time savings that come from using STARKs.

Wish we had a “canonical” non-pixelated version of the noggles. Something rounder, softer Would love to have that on eg my hat instead of the usual logo What are some good versions of this so far?
