just discovered Hidecast made by @ds8, another tool that enables token-gated casts. It reminds me of /clubcast, which uses frames to let only your subscribers see your locked content. Hidecast offers more options, allowing you to reveal hidden content to holders of your Moxie Fan tokens and set conditions like likes, retweets, follows, or passwords. This also provides a great use case for Fan Tokens. Such products are quite interesting. If used effectively, like including your alpha information in hidden casts, they could become quite popular. https://hidecast.vercel.app/?id=9cee9fa5-1930-42d8-9177-846fe92aac32

/recaster now lets you launch composer actions (mini-apps) by clicking links in Frames, a great experience. You can jump into the game directly from someone’s Frame share, not just through Explore. Could Warpcast support this too? It would really boost mini-app promotion and usage. https://farplanter.xyz/color/37

It's truly amazing. I just used cursor.com to create an html FlappyBird game in five minutes with no coding. I generated the game code through natural language conversation and quickly adjusted parameters like pipe spacing and game speed based on gameplay experience. In no time, I had a fantastic game. Maybe other LLMs can do this too, but with Cursor, everything was done directly within the code editor, eliminating the need to copy and paste. Nowadays, anyone can write code, and it’s high-quality code.

While some bangers are discussing “canceling channels”, it’s great to see /degencast focused on building better channels. degencast.wtf has evolved, now combining governance (content curation) with incentives (token rewards) to engage the community in growing vibrant channels. optimistic these will work.

learning ethervista.app. It looks like it's emerging as a new DEX primitive on ETH, claiming to reduce "rug pulls." Since its launch, it has become one of the top gas consumers on the network. It's not just another pump.fun on ETH, it offers something new for ETH DeFi users who were frustrated by the lack of innovation on the mainnet. will continue to observe its progress. https://www.bankless.com/understanding-ethervista-ethereum

Moxie's recent strategy seems effective so far. - FarBoosts are driving more investment in Fan Tokens to boost Far Scores - adjustable rewards splits can boost FT profitability and buying interest - More apps are joining the moxie.xyz/ecosystem, broadening its use cases. Looking forward to more. Frame by @zeni.eth

Well thought-out. “The many grifters, scam artists, and opportunists who tend to crowd around casinos” is indeed the elephant in the room, and yes, “In cryptocurrency, we have a very sick patient who will need an aggressive and painful course of treatment to be cured.” Technology itself is neutral, but people often steer it according to their inclinations. And yes, we do need more “computer-based yeomen” dedicated to the noble vision of 'Read, Write, Own' and directing efforts towards “making something worthwhile to society.”

This article is sparking heated discussions in the Chinese community today. It critiques the limitations of Web3 Social and monetization strategies. worth a read. The article differentiates between social interaction (micro-level communication) and community (a complex entity with shared goals and mutual support). It argues that Web3 Social monetization models, like X to Earn, often fail because they shift user motivation from the product to incentives, leading to diminished engagement when incentives wane. Instead, it recommends focusing on building vibrant community products or exploring innovative middleware for better integration with existing social platforms. Farcaster is cited as a successful example, avoiding the SocialFi model and fostering a genuine crypto community that naturally led to memecoins like Degen. While this model was popular, communities can be fragile during downturns. This serves as a test, and when the market recovers, focusing on crypto communities may still be more stable.

I've always said @surreal is the best-looking NFT browser I've seen and one of the most elegantly designed crypto products. Now, with deep integration with Zora, NFT creation is incredibly easy, sure to attract more creators. who will the collectors be? If you like an artist, why not collect their work, especially when it's available for a limited time or in limited quantities, and even your curation can earn rewards? also a better showcase naturally sparks the desire to collect. And what if the process became more social? Clients like @kiosk could become “a hub for socialization around discovering and showcasing NFTs”, especially with integration into Farcaster’s social graph. Supporting friends and interested creators would be easy. NFT clients are making progress, and while these might not be the ideal versions yet, I'm excited for what’s next. https://warpcast.com/surreal/0x2edb6359

Within two days of Brazil's X ban, Bluesky gained 500,000 users, with many also joining Mastodon and Threads. People often migrate to these (relatively) decentralized platforms to escape X, but this time, it wasn’t X pushing them away, they couldn’t use it. Decentralized social media is always open to everyone. https://www.theverge.com/2024/8/30/24232561/brazil-x-ban-sending-people-bluesky

dyadstable.xyz, touted as the first capital efficient overcollateralized stablecoin, has seen its TVL skyrocket. Could it be that with $DAI switching to $USDS, $DYAD is now set to carry the torch for decentralized stablecoins? Try to understand why. https://www.blocmates.com/articles/what-is-dyad

I just heard about it when it was about to launch its ITO on @degenpad . @poster is a nice platform for creating memes. you can easily create memes you want using templates, existing materials, or AI, then share it onchain as an NFT and earn. Yeah, “content is currency”!

thrilled to see @kiosk reaching more people. After over a month of intensive use, I can say it's the smoothest client I've used. Kiosk offers clean Farcaster cast feeds along with NFT feeds from Zora and Rodeo, where you can discover, mint, and earn. It is unique and stands out from Warpcast, definitely worth trying!

I just changed the ratio of $MOXIE rewards shared with my fans to the maximum. FarBoost and adjustable reward ratios for fan token holders are two key updates aimed at boosting fan token purchases and driving more $MOXIE buys. Let's see how it goes. 👀 https://warpcast.com/betashop.eth/0x7e5b102c

Time.fun just announced a $3 million seed round, backed by Brevan Howard Digital, Coinbase Ventures, etc., and angel investors like Anatoly Yakovenko. I revisited the sitem, noticed some UI adjustments, but the core idea is unchanged: tokenizing creators' time. Traders can buy, sell, and redeem time to send messages or have 1-on-1 calls with creators. "Time is the most valuable asset one has, and it is incredibly hard to execute on." The concept is strong, but it lacks users. More KOLs and influential creators are needed to make the platform meaningful. It's like how only Warren Buffett's lunch would sell for $19 million. https://www.theblock.co/post/313770/time-fun-crypto-funding-brevan-howard-digital

It seems that my streak has lasted since Frames launched. It’s a habit now, like my "Toothbrush" product. thanks to the fresh and engaging content, and the real connections forming a cozy, unique culture. But the culture is still niche, we need to share what we cherish and invite more to join and become part of it. Frame by @saxophone55.eth
