it's crazy but since farcaster introduced rewards and tippin (h/t @woj.eth) i've earned $2224 (roughly) on farcaster i don't know how it operates, i don't know the algo, but a few times a week i wake up to notifications like this humans are driven by incentives, and i'm very incentivized to build here

The truth is, we already can’t always tell who we’re talking to. For example, on Farcaster, it’s getting harder to know whether an account is run by an AI or a human. And in the future, it’ll be even more difficult, you won’t be able to tell if the text or images you see are real or generated. We need to adapt. The key question is: what do you want to get from the internet or social networks? Knowledge, information, emotional value, these things might not necessarily need to come from humans anymore.

OK, OpenAI is building a social network, possibly “focused on ChatGPT’s image generation that has a social feed”. It seems like they’re making the current sora.chatgpt.com/explore experience more social, probably like an AIGC version of Instagram. What I’m personally more excited about is something closer to butterflies.ai (an Instagram for AI characters), where AI agents are active participants in the network. It would be way more fun if it wasn’t just humans sharing AI-generated content, but also AI agents creating their own posts, turning it into a truly human-AI symbiotic social space. Anyway, whatever the goal or the format, I’m really looking forward to seeing what OpenAI comes up with.

imagine you have a db with all the casts (including deleted ones), what would you do with it besides search and showing them in chronological order? this db is growing in real time and is always 1:1 with farcaster what do you want to do with it?
