gm. my farcaster feed is beginning to resemble twitter, and not in a good way. squabbling, posturing, and misinformation abound, none of it funny, some of it dangerous. i won't help with that. so, instead of unfollowing anyone specifically, i've made the choice to reset my follows and exit most channels. I totally understand and support you. There's a lot of smoke in the air because of many drastic changes in a short space of time (in the channels, in Moxie, in Degen). A lot of people are lost or frustrated because they don't know how to participate or because they feel excluded. I hope the dust will settle in the next few days.

Before the channel changes, I occasionally cleaned them to get a better home feed. In general, it worked well. Following people just because of the social pressure that someone follows you back is terrible. Following should be something you want to do because you like the person, the content, or whatever reason ticks with you. The same should be the opposite. It's frustrating that you must nuke all your followers to avoid getting some people angry at you.
