Ethereum became the most important blockchain ecosystem without any marketing but yet again we have this discussion over and over again in 10 years.

Marketing is for selling products. Ethereum is not a product. It's a protocol, a technology, a philosophy.

The best engineers that I worked with that were 100x engineers and some of the most intelligent people I ever worked with

But honestly they weren’t that much better technically than others I knew (some were better and would write more code faster) - what they were really good at - great communicators, and that’s why their ideas got buy in from the team / management etc

imo there is a lot of under-appreciated overlap between marketing and eng. there is huge opportunity for those who can simultaneously wield technical and communication skillsets.

truly didn’t realize that it had been 2 years already. definitely regret not leaning in sooner.

most artists tend to be bad at making money or even (un)consciously avoid it. this seems counterintuitive but believe it or not, university art programs condition students to believe that they will be poor and deserve it. it’s truly bizarre once you gain some distance.
