Get followed, otherwise engaged by well connected accounts. Artists and photographers have trouble ranking because they don't converse (reply). They share media to root feed only, get nowhere, then give up. Participate meaningfully in other people's conversations... for awhile... first. Avoid personal promotion.

I tried to explain that to most of the artists I onboarded here. Most of them kept casting marketplace links with latest drops and that’s it. It won’t do any good when you have 5 followers and nobody knows who you are. Make yourself known first. Make them acknowledge you. Be part of the conversation Be real

I’ll try focusing on replying rather than sharing my art all the time. See how that changes things up. And it’s a curious algorithm. I’m wondering if the ease and saturation of AI images is degrading the value we put on the visual in spaces like this. I guess pictures are no longer worth 1000 words.
