Get followed, otherwise engaged by well connected accounts. Artists and photographers have trouble ranking because they don't converse (reply). They share media to root feed only, get nowhere, then give up. Participate meaningfully in other people's conversations... for awhile... first. Avoid personal promotion.

the key to achieving this imho is doubling down on the things that make you tick. spend time with the people + communities doing + talking about the things you love. be curious.
