Get followed, otherwise engaged by well connected accounts.

Artists and photographers have trouble ranking because they don't converse (reply). They share media to root feed only, get nowhere, then give up.

Participate meaningfully in other people's conversations... for awhile... first. Avoid personal promotion.

Yes, this is really useful information, I too have been emphasizing more on content and commenting on other people's work, but I haven't paid much attention to deep communication
