It was a mistake to use the word "toffee" for some candy thing. I just accidentally made a 50/50 tea+coffee mix, and coffee people actually liked it. We should call that toffee instead.

I just learned about "church basement egg coffee" where you crush an egg, shell and all, into ground coffee and mix thoroughly, then brew it all in a pot of boiling water (not too long or tannic acid develops), then strain and serve. It comes out clear and rich like a creamy tea. Apparently the shell reduces acidity.

But consider: Teaffee would more accurately express the proportions of the drink in its name—toffee feels like it should be coffee with a splash of tea

Any other words we should hold in reserve for a couple decades in case you accidentally come up with another banger? 😂

You go with a black tea here or something lighter? Seems like the L-Theanine from green would be nice to add to coffee but less likely for its flavor to hold up?

consider: coffea (just close enough in spelling to be confusing and annoying)

Cherry on top: "Because of its high caffeine content, coffee may give you a quicker burst of energy, but tea contains L-theanine, a chemical that, in combination with caffeine, can help you stay mentally alert for longer. In other words, a coffee buzz hits hard and fast, but tea might offer slower, more steady energy" https://www.forbes.com/health/nutrition/coffee-vs-tea/#:~:text=Because%20of%20its%20high%20caffeine,offer%20slower%2C%20more%20steady%20energy.

I’m guessing it’s a light roast coffee? A lot of light roast coffee has the “tea” profile and I guess that mixture could work well
