What’s something you’ve seen (literally, with your eyes) recently that’s made you restless in a fundamentally new and unfamiliar way. Ie not like seeing a new flavor of icecream and being restless to try it. Like a portal into a new world type restlessness. Eg for me is first glimpse of internet.

This morning I was walking in the woods and came across a dead baby deer. Looked like it had been killed the night before but not eaten for whatever reason. I’ve been close to death and dead animals before, but never like that. Something unsettling ab it and a restlessness relating to my own mortality.

Most recent (in a positive way) was probably this painting, it put me on a path that led me to leave my previous career, start collecting anime art, which led me to NFTs and to all of you!

I got an E-bike a couple weeks ago and it’s made me restless to live in a post-car world. I only see waste and destruction when I look at the car-centric infrastructure of my city.

Today I saw a young black man cross an intersection against a green light to avoid cops. All the cops were white, they were detaining two separate PoCs, and this dude saw me coming through the green and chanced darting across to avoid the cops. I suspect this isn't the kind of restless you meant though.

Experiencing the Vision Pro launch - specifically I'm restless about the new, sense-dazzling torrents of content that it (or VP 2) will launch. Intimate conversation podcasts happening on your actual couch, roar of a coliseum crowd in your bedroom, full spatial sensory smorgasbord tiktok feeds. It has shifted my arc.
