House of Suns is another good one i really liked

Great list, love seeing Revelation Space up there. Have you read Reynolds other stuff? I enjoy a lot of them though RS definitely is on a higher tier as a single book. Blue Remembered Earth is a good one. Also love to see Left Hand of Darkness, a really unique and beautiful book, and I'm surprised I didn't see The Dispossessed in your list. Anyway thanks for sharing!

ted chiang's stuff is pretty good. 

there's a lot from the golden age, but i dont remember them by name, read a few anthologies.
