a concise intro to farther v2, which fits my personal criteria of a good tipping token design:
- lean and easy to understand
- entertaining
- positive sum competition
- organic social arbitrage by nature, i.e. helping creators that already have existing audience on other platforms
- aiming at discovering early gems instead of making the rich richer 
- facilitating the growth of farcaster as a whole

only two things left to tackle:
eradicating tip farming as much as possible

While focused on driving engagement similar to Moxie, I notice 2 big differentiators for Season 2 of @farther:
1. Farther is focused more on lesser known, rising stars.
2. You don't need to bet your own funds with Farther you use your allocation and if you bet right, it pays back to both you and your recipients.

Love the distribution solution of Season 2.  Getting tips out to those that are rising stars of the system. Now it makes me curious, if this is successful on the distribution side, what will drive the demand side of Farther down the road? Demand for tipping allocations by holding seems to only get any token so far and presumably tips will eventually run out. An L3 and use as native token is one solution. What are other ideas where token demand is generated beyond speculation and allocations? @farther What am I missing?

This is going to be interesting! Need to simultaneiously figure out how to improve my tipper score (currently a measly 180) and my OpenRank score which is like 1799. Need to dig deep into some maths and how these things are calculated. Initial bets will be on those who have recently taken on larger roles within a community. Meanwhile, I'll be increasing my own community involvement.

I think most bought but many of the 9k seem to be airdrop farmers who fill up a ton of addresses with tiny amounts. 

That said, I think we have at least 1-2k active holders.

Engagement has gone to a trickle on wc even for well-known accounts. What happened? Degen-related? Algo-related? Vacation-related? How are DAUs looking?
