We've done our part; now let's focus on solving the housing crisis here in Ireland. It's time to take care of our own community.

I basically quit using hooks and did all data fetching on the server after tasting a codebase without hooks. loader and useLoaderData is prob the single most powerful demo for remix: - backend devs like it cause it’s still js, libraries work, no rsc - frontend gets way simpler with no loading, error, data states littered everywhere - all single file

Can't believe we've lost 1,100 lives, and climate change remains unaffected. Starting to feel like it was all a deception from the start.

I've watched almost every episode of /gmfarcaster as my way of keeping up with Farcaster news and just want to say how lucky we are to have @nounishprof @adrienne spending their time growing the Farcaster ecosystem. Just clearly smart, curious, and kind people

Last week, Trump and tech entrepreneurs pledged $500B to the Stargate project to lead in AI. Meanwhile, China unveiled a $5M Deepseek, causing US stocks to plunge by $1T. Can't wait to see how this unfolds! Open-source AI challenging subscription models shakes things up! 😅

Generally good advice, but I want to correct a few misconceptions: 1. Posting frames is not bad 2. Recasting is not bad The best advice is to post original thoughts. It's OK to quote, reply to, tag and engage with someone when you have something useful to add.

Using a Windows laptop for work and a MacBook Pro at home, it continues to blow my mind how comparatively energy efficient and powerful Apple Silicon is. The battery of my MBP just won’t deplete. I never “have to” charge, I just do it overnight out of habit and could probably skip a night. The MBP is also much more silent and cool, even under serious workload. Having welcomed the switch from PowerPC to Intel Macs back in the day, I was skeptical five years ago of Apple manufacturing its own chips — and boy was I wrong. Best strategic decision of the last decade
