Since Spam labels are now public, I’ve spent some time looking at things these accounts have in common vs accounts that don’t get labeled and this is my initial advice for people who’ve been labeled. 

1. STOP sharing frames. If you didn’t build it, don’t share it. 
2. Stop recasting. Instead, quote cast and spell out why you are sharing it. What makes this worthy of being shared?
3. Ensure 80% of your timeline is original content. Don’t steal it from the web, make something unique and genuine. It better to not cast at all than to cast slop. 
4. Only reply to people in channels. If someone casts to their home feed and doesn’t follow you, don’t comment. 
5. Stop tagging people. They don’t get notified of the tags anyway. It’s pointless to tag them.

Generally good advice, but I want to correct a few misconceptions: 

1. Posting frames is not bad
2. Recasting is not bad 

The best advice is to post original thoughts. It's OK to quote, reply to, tag and engage with someone when you have something useful to add.

It would be nice to make a doc where it is more specific what can turn you into spam, many good friends who have been here for a while have been tagged recently.

so generally is it ok if frames incentivise the sharing and make the user post them?

could you please discuss how the algo treats non-English conversations?

It appears on very limited data that occasional Bulgarian-speakers are more likely to be penalized than occasional Dolphin-speakers.

My assumption: if I cast only in Wassie, and primarily spammers engage back (very few current non-spammers cast heavily in Wassie), that must surely harm my score?

But how the algo updates ? I mean for me the last update of spam label is 19th January,  almost 10days ago!

How it keep on syncing?

i thought this was the case regarding frames.   

that said - would casting frames that tag a lot of people be bad?   i've not created any that do this because of this.

It would also be interesting if sharing the frames meant receiving the spam label. Then @rodeodotclub and @degenfans would be finished, because they both contain a lot of membership.

I came up with this more than a month ago (look at my page), because I was also bothered by the "plain", "boring" frames.

and what about users not subscribed to each other? there was smth like if i write to someone not my fren (ex. you) i'll be consider like a spammer..
but mb i just have smth to tell/answer that is relevant at the moment.
and how make new connections and frens if we couldn't communicate to non-subscribers?

okay but a lot of frames are spam.. it’s the random info snippet equivalent of X but with some rodeo art

Hey @v  can adjustments be made to accommodate AI agents, so that they don’t get labeled as spammy, shortly after creation?
