'Attest' is stronger than 'like', but there's a heart shape in the design that gives a nod to 'like'.

The intersection shows the interconnectivity that the attestations create onchain.

The diamond shape is a nod to Ethereum.

The overall shape is like a badge.

Feels like 6 and 7 are the most obvious at first glance, but 13 feels really compelling. The issue with the check is that it’s a bit confounding to me as “message read” and * feels like “add a footnote” which aligns with the concept of an attestation

12 aligns with my understanding of the action the closest, but visually it need some love to fit in better with the group. It feels like “this is my opinion”, where the check icons feel more like a matter of fact 🤷

The check options seem obvious choices to me and 7 differentiates in shape from the boxy options

I can see why people chose 21 and it’s growing on me

Thanks for sharing! I think something simpler to go with the rest of the icon set, e.g. raised hand emoji ( ✋ ). This is often used in voice chats to speak.

- it's a simple, uncomplicated shape
- it's a distinctly different shape from the other three icons
- i'd argue it's more universally recognized as an icon to indicate verification or approval
