ok super random but i rly believe there’s this undocumented phenomenon in LA, NYC, SF, Austin where a certain type of woman as soon as she hits her late twenties i swear to god instantly becomes some sort of corepower yoga teacher you know exactly what im talking about, right? or am i the only one observing this?

My wife had this phase during that time where she was a low key travel/dining influencer IG. Almost like a different kind of teacher, haha

it’s this, pilates instructor, or solo aesthetician (not that there’s anything wrong with any of those) — the common thing is telling others what to do (not that there’s anything wrong with that)

It’s our quarter life crisis. We stop doing yoga by the age of 30 and begin another crisis instead.

when i got out of college (to a Gen Z this is when dinosaurs roamed the earth) i ran off to Bali and learned how to be a yoga teacher from the person who i then learned had designed the actual Corepower curriculum. afterwards i was possessed to pick up some tomes instead in DC and narrowly missed my metro yoga > wellness instructor > influencer arc. i never taught a yoga lesson outside of Bali. i could have been out here aligning chakras🙃
