i was worried about LDL and HDL until my doctor told me that i shouldn't worry, as long as I eat a lot of produce rich in Omega-3 (or supplement) and keep fit one thing I did for sure was to limit my intake of seed oils to a bare minimum; we cook with butter and stay away from lots of carbs simple carbs

Touch grass. No, seriously. We're all making it a bigger problem than it is. Live your life and enjoy yourself. Don't eat bacon for every meal. But do it sometimes.

Proper diet; high in fibres, drastically lessen red meat, no fried food, no fatty food, no soft drinks, no sugary drinks. Exercise regularly, even a daily 15-20 minutes will do Sleep enough. I was in your position, 1 month lowered my cholestrol and LDL to normal level.

dude get prescribed a statin. I'm genetically disposed to high cholesterol, have a good diet and exercise a ton. Couldn't get it to drop any significant amount. Here is the before and after on my blood tests on rosuvastatin.

I had this problem as well. It is a genetic thing. I managed to lower mine by: not eating sugar, only whole grain things, no chocolate. Reduced meat consumption, no milk, no cheese. Exercised more and started drinking one cup of chick weed tea every day.

If you limit your meat protein to just fish and chicken as much as possible and have a healthy dose of greens and fruits it should come down dramatically in a couple months, its really just dieting. Iโ€™m trying to lower mine right now.

As a pharmacist, high intensity statin would be best. Atorvastatin 40-80 mg nightly or rosuvastatin 20-40 mg nightly. Talk to your doctor to have that discussion. Will need liver labs checked and avoid grapefruit. Good luck.

Hey as a dietician : eat a lot of fiber, vegetables each meal, oily fish as salmon, daily hands of nuts : almonds or nuts to get some 3 omega fatty acids which help reduce LDL and increase HDL ๐Ÿ˜

also if youre trying to reduce red meat you could try โ€œeat meatiโ€. i was blown away by the classic steaks and carne asada steaks they make out of mushroom root. my friend who grills a lot was blown away. also 34 grams of protein.

I would try via diet without medication first. Mine is genetically high, but not to be of concern. Have a good look at over prescription of statins etc. There's a good chance diet will fix it. Just remember it's not an overnight fix
