farcaster is the protocol, warpcast is a client we all post to the protocol (farcaster), though you may access those posts through many different user-facing clients

farcaster is where warpcast is built so if you don't like something on warpcast the team will be like "too bad, you can build something else on farcaster if you don't like it" but of course the farcaster website only directs you to warpcast (and does not mention supercast or whatever else)
