Hm were you worrying? Sometimes I have difficulty shutting my brain off or sometimes I just cant fall asleep or wake up too early. I just accept I'm awake and read something that interests me but isn't too mentally engaging. Eventually I tired and go back to sleep. Yes, I am tired in the morning but I just accept this happens.

This happened to me when I was in a Coffee-Alcohol Loop: Had a lot of coffee during day; needed a couple drinks at night to break out of the stimulation mode; would fall asleep this way, but the sleep is exactly like you describe. So I’d have some coffee to power through the next day…… Etc etc.

How early? What was your day like? Lots of screen time right before bed? Caffeine intake? Stressed? What did you eat and how soon before bed? Have you been drinking alcohol? I think Huberman has a great podcast episode on sleep and how to get it. I trained myself to sleep using a Whoop strap and just being stupidly disciplined.

I haven't mastered crypto, but feels like I have mastered sleep. Here are my tipps: 1. Have a steady routine. 2. Don't look at bright screens (it's like the sun to your brain) or get a nightmode that changes the color of your display: https://justgetflux.com/ 3. Exercise during the day. The one that has helped me most: 4. White noise. For me that is the audio track of a sitcom (started with something very familiar so I already knew what was happening). Keeps my brain busy enough to not lead to "think cycles" but not too busy to not fall asleep. Might be music or rain for you (https://asoftmurmur.com/) 5. Get up in the morning. If you sleep in, you won't be tired enough to fall back asleep at night. Also if you wake up early: Just get up. Do the thing that is keeping you awake or do some work. Your body can handle a day with less sleep and you'll feel tired enough in the evening to fall asleep at your usual routine. I have more...DM or ask.

Go to your local dispensary. Get CBN gum, edible, or vape cartridge. You can thank me later. I just take two puffs of the CBN cartridge and sleep so well. It’s CbD so it doesnt get you high. CBN is a form of CBD.
