Ultimately this will be a net good I think. So many people trusted Telegram when it was never a secure option. Hopefully people will move to Signal and Session for more sensitive conversations, and web3 can move to XMTP finally 🤞

Telegram is still a *great* messaging app (that's why I use it) and I'd argue that most people don't care that much about their privacy since they have nothing to hide Obviously the crypto crowd is more outspoken over something like this given their shared ideals but I'm not sure it means that "it's over"
