Coming up with a good name / rebrand is seriously the part I struggle with the most for working on an early stage startup. Maybe I'm overthinking it

Constraints help! Picking things like “no more than 5 letters” and has “XYZ vibe” and “has some association with ABC”. Then just go hunting for a great domain version of it. As long as the name isn’t explicitly bad, you can basically grow into and sculpt whatever you pick however you want over time.

You created an app to solve this problem already lol. Put up a bounty for it, there's a lot of creative people here. I'm sure you'd find some responses satisfactory

How about choosing by the user's voting system from the answer to the bounty case you did before? You may be disturbed by the bot, so you may be able to let only Pro users vote.

No, you’re not. Brand recall value has a lot to do with the name. I want in on brainstorming!

Went through this many years back coming up with a farm name… because there are a ton of cliche farm names; I’ve never liked the vibes. We didn’t land on Brix Bounty until the fall of our first year when we needed to start filling out more official paperwork, well after harvests had started. Should think of it as an opportunity. Much easier when your wife takes the lead with the baby names.

Go with your gut! “Bountycaster” is extremely niche and not very sexy tbh and look how far you’ve gotten with it, names don’t matter that much

Branding is pretty important. It’s basically the personality of what you’re building… …and it’s easy to overthink. Products can be successful even with mediocre brands. Early stage it’s often better to launch and get feedback than it is to wait for the perfect brand. We HAD a pretty sick brand which are no longer able to use, so we decided to go with a pretty generic /bcard brand for now until we can get our shit together. We didn’t want to delay and I don’t regret it.
