Having seen a lot of crypto founders as an investor, some common pitfalls I'm trying to be careful of - raised too much, lost sense of urgency - grew team too large, lost focus - ego caught up in speaking events and vanity metrics - nerd sniped into building fun things - waiting too long to launch / release feature

I think I have a propensity for speaking at events, which I need to watch out for since it adds very little value to the Degen community. However, from a personal standpoint, it's fun. There are so many traps to avoid.

I love the nerd sniped item In the same vein, taking TOO MUCH feedback A project I worked on would release, get feedback, add new features, change existing and at the end of it, no one wanted it Build what people need not what they want and it’s up to you to find the need

the ego catching up is understandable, reminds me of @sxtvik's tweet: https://x.com/sxtvik/status/1778440147689963940 also, one additional question: would you see how crypto founders/their team are doing the product marketing as well?

So many pitfalls, it’s like walking on a minefield. But I guess that’s the main reason not everyone is suited to be a founder

3 is the most common problem in crypto. folks should talk less and build more. if you’re building something exciting and valuable, the interest gets created organically.

Good one. With /koda we could raised bit more, team is lean, dropped weak performers, let team members speak on occasions, fun things is questionable, lot of jokes can be profitable, releasing each week, sometimes even not polished features. Great list!
