been taking things more slowly while traveling. it’s been the first family trip in a long time and really enjoying the moment. that said, some thoughts i’ve had as i’ve checked in on feed here and there: - crypto seems so trivial, embarrassing often outside looking in. eg “big” topic items like content coins, or qc trains. the latter kinda more representative of how sm comes off to me - follows are not equal. i feel like i get the right dose of perspective/topics by reading ted’s posts. i love seeing new art/projects from comp/yon/catra/etc - i saw @nodefoundation’s announcement and im very excited to see where it goes. wondering what i can apply to gltch

Mini App Devs, lets keep adding that metadata. Once we have more coverage, we can do some nice stuff. I'd like to get multiple categories with at least 10s of mini apps. The more you add the more we'll have to work with to improve distribution.

In the very early stages of building an interactive + configurable Farcaster leaderboard, as a first step towards @quotient's vision of building a Palantir-esque client for builders/creators growing communities on Farcaster. One early insight - our algorithm optimizes for relationships representing "acknowledged value" over simple reach/centrality, giving a significant boost to Farcaster dev creators. This approach identifies @darrylyeo, @stevedylandev.eth and @proxystudio.eth as the three most influential Farcasters in April. It also makes a lot of sense, if you think a reputation metric for a platform should align with that platform's strategic priorities.

introducing: Grasscaster write only farcaster client we all know that touching grass is important. but whoever has done it knows that it sucks to not have a window to share your thoughts or whatever with our beloved network so this is how it works: > you download the app > you connect your farcaster account > you set a deadline for the touching grass (“offline”) period. let’s say 3 day > you hit “start touching grass” and the countdown starts. your pfp gets a nice grass effect and people get you are touching grass because they all know grasscaster because iykyk > during that period whenever you have an idea or picture you want to share you go and share it with the network. you cast it through the app but only that. nothing more. nothing less you won’t know what happened with all those casts until the period ends people still connect with you and you connect with them but you don’t get any notifications or feedback on what happened with your content should i build it? 👀
