My sociopathic career tip is to title inflate. Especially if you work for a small startup: you are the COO, CMO, CTO, whatever. Most people have monkey brain and will think you’re really high status and important off title alone without really interrogating it

I would reframe it, the rank of company matters and then the title inherits this score. If it's a small fresh startup, titles are more for joke and ownership purposes than real.
