It's actually amazing, because I swear that in my industry most of the people don't read good books, they don't watch good movies, they're not interested in philosophy. The only thing of interest is to go for a drink after a concert and discuss who's sleeping with who.

That’s an interesting observation.

You would think people who live with music would be especially “tuned” for interest in deep thinking, but I agree with you anecdotally that this isn’t the case. 

I will think a bit more about this vis a vis tech people in particular.

I have deep conversations with some tech people, with some musicians, with some designers, with some lawyers, etc. And I never have deep conversations with some other tech people, some other musicians, some other designers, and some other lawyers...

absolutely! i'm an extroverted introvert myself and I understand very well what you're saying. 

but what I mean is that the high-spiritedness of classical music is proportional to the idiocy of the musicians. there is simply nothing to talk about with them because they are not interested in good books, movies, movies, technology. all these people live in the past, not the future. this is why i was searching my way out and ended up on blockchain

i know musicians who do a lot of talking through their music, and some who even say they're "better" when not talking and playing instead 

i kinda get it because sometimes it feels like words don't quite do the trick

well maybe i’m wrong to say about all tech people, but farcaster ones are really special that’s for sure
