Use the time to reset, focus on yourself and find things that bring you joy. Most importantly: don't get trapped in a rebound thinking it's a good fit šŸ˜…

My heart goes out to you! Be sure to respect the physical component to this. Itā€™s not just emotional/psychological. Treat it like you broke your leg and need a lengthy recovery. It will heal and youā€™ll be better than ever, but itā€™s going to suck for a while. Pamper yourself and lower self-expectations

I would focus on personal success in both professional and personal ways. Love tends to find you along the way.

Listen to good musicā€“preferably new and in album formā€“spend deep time with some of your favorite humans, while staying off your phone. Donā€™t be afraid to sit in contemplation without looking at a screen. Embrace it.

Hit the gym harder than you ever have before. Iā€™m talking an extra 5 reps when you gas out at 10. Work in an extra couple sets. Stay there for 2hrs. Caloric surplus. Bulk mode. Hoodie up. Future - DS2 on repeat šŸ” Donā€™t get sad and fap. Be selfish, take time to reflect. Focus/work on what you want out of life

Breakups are so hard. Sending you some positive vibes. Lean on ā€œyourā€ friends more than ā€œourā€ friends initially. Friends often get split up in a breakup too - at least in early days. Start a new hobby that has nothing to do with your past. Go everywhere and do everything your ex hated so you stopped doing.

Feel your feelings Especially if you tend to not feel them Donā€™t sit in them, but make sure theyā€™ve been processed so they donā€™t accidentally re-emerge in your future It sucks though I recently went through a break up too, so unsure if this is good advice yet, but hoping it will be in the long run
