I’m tracking vibe-coded projects with open API keys. If you federate access across a few, you could *hypothetically* run LLMs and media generation without paying. It’s a weird hobby, but for *purely academic purposes* I’m curious how seriously people who post their projects take security. So far the data indicates not very seriously. There’s opportunity for a cloud provider to step in with a security feature at deployment.

Markdown serves as the canvas. GUI node builders aren’t needed for non-sensitive workflow. conditionals written in nlp and tags highlighted when if/else/or statements are detected and logic is abstracted and pulled from that sentence. 90% of the time a sentence or two is enough for conditional and another sentence or two for personality and directives

I’m embarrassed to say it, but I woke up in a sweat stressing about my repo’s git merge issues lmao. Shoutout to arta staying up till 3am helping me diagnostic my issues came came down to a a missing gitignore file and not layering in commits—had 81 files I was changing at some point smh. Then I realized my git contributions were being rejected because I was using a diff gh account for the merges and gh wasn’t recognizing it for the merge 😂 sincerely fuck you git. now to deal with DNS settings..

Code that makes money is the best code. it’s serves people where they want to be met. I should add some nuance. This depends on the goal. If consumer product, speed and catching trends are the primary goals for developers. Few think past the trend they’re on and imagine a short product life cycle. Ironic considering I rarely use such products. Enterprise B2B SaaS penetrates markets with all the above. craftsmanship in not only code, but design, founder led sales, storytelling, branding, Rolodex, strategic partnerships… there is art, craftsmanship mixed in with some statesmanship.. good code makes money by serving people where they want to be met. if it generates slop that is useful for some group and not for others, I’m all for it. as the defect itI on of a developer loosens more such tools will proliferate. this will cause it’s own markets to be upended and new ones to take their place.

do you have a repeatable experience that makes you feel unstoppable? I try not to indulge in marijuana (bad for productivity) , but something about hitting a doobie, blasting Future’s All Right, walking through a Canadian blizzard and lifting your weight on all compound lifts, taking a thirst trap, followed by a cold shower and 30min sauna.. makes you feel like a god.

i used to bring boxes of popeyes into my cubicle almost every day for lunch for months. it was an act of self-mutilation some call bulking, but it had other side effects like mogging my coworkers with the sweet smell of artificially fattened chicken breasts, 5day oil and GMOs. I got a sick kick out of observing the moment their eyes would sparkle when the aroma hit their senses—and paying particular attention to how just as quickly the light would dim at the realization of their own mortality and slowed metabolic rate from a prolonged sedentary lifestyle. c’est la vie.
