The ones making good video games are spending all their resources on building games instead of hype There are almost certainly good ones out there that nobody’s heard of yet b/c the best ones will have no budget for hype engineering So let’s not start hurling out bath water under the assumption there are 0 babies

It makes sense from an onboarding and interesting use case perspective. It’s just, from a software perspective, building a game is like starting in hard mode. Especially when you look at the admirable ambition being presented, which would take experienced teams 4-6 years.

The “community is the value prop” to “we’re making a game” pipeline was very real last cycle At best a lack of vision from scrambling over-capitalized teams They/holders are gonna find out how differentiated a skill game dev is

it's funny cause it's easy to so hard to create a good game. most experienced studios launch games that suck, so what are the odds that the NFT fam will succeed? that's why in my IP Protocols essay it's the hardest thing to build (picrel/linkrel) https://kanfa.macbudkowski.com/ip-protocols-part-3?modal=subscribe

Any time I saw hype for “P2E” games I remember thinking how this was already a thing without NFTs, called esports 🫠

Lmaoooo its so funny too like what are they thinking? Who told them people wanted a game? Feels like acts of sheer desperation

The Wanderers are making a pretty cool looking game. Not totally my thing tbh, but I dig it. I have no idea why it would translate necessarily to my NFT value pumping, but whatever lol
