When Steve and I started orbiter.host, there were two things we wanted to focus on: 1. Playing in a validated market. 2. Using /pinata for all our IPFS needs. We did exactly those things even if point 1 means dealing with heavy competition. I think we have some nice advantages that will grow over time though.

With settlements like these, do the exchanges just promise not to operate in the US or do they get the money transmitting licenses? I was all in on Railway, but I've had way too many frustrations with it. Things that SHOULD just work often don't and debugging is hard since you don't have access to the shell console for the server (which originally I thought was a great thing). I've moved as much of my backend code to Cloudflare workers and if I need long-running processes, I'm back on Digital Ocean.

I have this recurring dream where I’m late for a flight. Sometimes I can’t find the keys to my car, or I can’t find my luggage, or in one of them I couldn’t find my family. Not sure what it means but this feels like a recurring nightmare actually.

When my wife first met me, I had a pretty insane collection of NES games and equipment. I thought I was going to buy and flip games and consoles, but all I did is buy and collect them. I had at least 4 NES’s, 2 Famicoms, and probably a hundred-plus games. Thank god she didn’t break up with me.

This article by @nateliason is really good but there’s something missing. It skips over how hard it is to build either type of business.
