Glad you asked this question ildi! I actually shared this same line of thinking; wondering too, if I should leave my posts mintable on Polygon or if I should opt for another chain, and also whether I should set larger edition sizes. I was going to ask @colin, can we choose a different chain per post? I hadn’t tried!

L2 for sure, cheaper and always focused on scalability. OP over Polygon because of the current hype (hence community interest) and the fact that FC chose them. Alignment makes for better signaling. Polygon of course is more mature, but I doubt you need what for outcasters.xyz would be incremental benefits. So #3.

3 I’m not a big writing NFT person in general, and I know that $10 gas fees would be a dealbreaker for me. I also have never used polygon but I might be in the minority there
