Finished build tonight, mostly! Still a few final thing a to sort out:

- displays are not working
- need longer standoffs for the display covers
- waiting for nicer sculpted keycaps to arrive

Got my preferred firmware flashed though, so it’s usable enough for now!

i often just build small games or apps that i don’t see much potential in.

some to interactivr prototype,
some to mvp

why waste time? i’m just trying to keep my maker spirit alive. unless i’m moving, i feel stagnant and irrelevant.

the thing I forgot when I started this project is that soldering keyboards is a huge pain in the ass and I hate it

some of the electronics are roughly the size of a grain of rice and I am not precise enough for this to be quick or enjoyable

the case fits, really stoked with how it’s turning out so far

waiting for batteries to arrive and then we start the build

nice trick with css :has - you can set css variables based on child content, which enables you to do some cool things like these no-js animated tabs
