I officially became a Notion Certified Consultant today! 🎉 I took this step because it felt natural. I already held a high degree of proficiency with the platform, and I wanted to make sure that this was clearly recognized at the highest level. I look forward to seeing how I take this into my next chapter to help Creative Entrepreneurs, Creative Agencies, Notion-loving Startups & Corporations to transform their operations!

What an amazing time welll spent at Make with Notion! 🙌🏾✨ Got a good deal of group shots I want to share too but I just wanted to make this quick post to show my appreciation for the experience overall that @NotionHQ was able to put together for their first official conference 👏🏾 the aesthetics, the scenery, the food, drinks & snacks — very welll done! Most especially though, the community together was truly something special 🫂💯

Someone on the r/Notion subreddit just asked, “What is Notion” — and I answered. I think it is worth sharing my response with you all here, so this is what I said: “Notion is like a Swiss Army knife. It has many functions & features that allow you to handle just about any situation (though dedicated tools for a specific endeavor might work best depending on the end goal). It is a no-code development tool for backend systems that allows you to create a helpful source of truth, serving as a document wiki, a project manager for process-driven workflows & other bespoke use-cases. It is a great start for people who are unfamiliar with databases that need to learn & implement them in some capacity. It is not, I repeat, it is NOT a Productivity tool. It is a suite of building blocks & templates that provides you with the means to configure your own productive systems, with an incredible level of modularity & flexibility.”

I officially got the certification for my Notion Advanced Badge today 🎉 Going to apply for the Notion Certified Consultant program soon. Both Long, Long overdue lol I’ve been at this already for quite a minute now (OG user since 2018)😅😆🙇🏾‍♂️

Hey so I was thinking to learn platform called toddle, which is a Visual Development Platform & soon to be an open source framework. On a separate note, I saw the component library Magic UI, was a bit impulsive & bought their lifetime deal on their Pro account since I saw it would sell out very soon. I thought I would be able to copy and paste stuff from there into toddle, but I’m now learning that this is inefficient and I’d be better off just building everything from scratch if I were to want the same components in toddle. That’s because Magic UI use typescript and react, whereas toddle is its own framework. So I say all that to say, if anyone is programming in type script & react, and want to possibly buy this lifetime subscription off of me for Magic UI, let me know! I don’t think I’ll have a use for it almost no time soon and I was better off saving those dollars or putting it towards another bill 🥲 (though it would be nice to reference every now and then)
